Bethany Criswell, a true journalist at heart, is the founder and
president of Artcraft Design Group.Since its creation in 2003, Artcraft Design Group has produced innovative, award winning
publications. The company has worked on various projects
with Pittsburgh-based businesses including Mt. Ararat Baptist
Church, Samuel E. Coston Funeral Home, Pneuma
Publishing and Kingdom People Productions.

Ms. Criswell brings a wealth of knowledge and experience
to the company with an impressive work history.
From 2003-2007, she served as the Director of Communications at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church where
her responsibilities included designing and maintaining the website, coordinating and managing all printed materials including church magazines, newsletters, and advertisements. She also worked closely with the Fine Arts Ministry, Youth Ministry, Special Projects and New Members Ministry to interface all programmed events with communications and public relations designs.

Prior to joining the staff at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church,
Bethany was the Director of Public Relations in the
Athletic Department at Carnegie Mellon University.
While at CMU, her design of the 2004 football media
guide earned her an award for Excellence in Publications
from CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors
of America). She has also served as a graduate assistant
in Sports Media Relations at Temple University and
Hampton University and completed internships with
Nike, ESPN and Alonzo Mourning’s “Zo’s Summer
Groove” in Miami, Florida.

Ms. Criswell is a graduate of Hampton University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism. She also received a Master of Education at Temple University.
